This full backyard remodel replaced an aging, deteriorating deck and fence system with a durable, functional outdoor space designed for privacy and entertaining. The project began with a complete demolition before rebuilding from the ground up.
New fencing was constructed using pressure-treated 6×6 posts for long-term stability, with thicker horizontal boards used to reduce joints and improve overall strength. This approach created a more solid, long-lasting fence while maintaining a clean, modern look.
The deck structure was built with pressure-treated framing and finished with cedar in all seating areas to provide a more comfortable, natural surface. Privacy walls were added around the BBQ and dining space to create a more enclosed, usable area for hosting.
A direct gas line was installed for the built-in BBQ, eliminating the need for propane tanks. Additional features included integrated storage solutions and a planter box to help define and separate different areas of the yard.
The result is a well-organized backyard space that balances durability, privacy, and functionality for everyday use and gatherings.
