This project involved building a new front porch and additional side entrance designed to match the architectural style of the surrounding neighborhood. The goal was to create a cohesive look while incorporating detailed custom carpentry elements commonly found on nearby homes.
The structure was built using a combination of materials, including pressure-treated lumber for the structural components and spruce for framing. The roof was finished in cedar, while the pillars were clad in Extira, a durable, water-resistant material suited for exterior applications.
Custom detailing was added to the pillars and trim to reflect traditional design elements and enhance the overall appearance. The result is a front porch that integrates well with the existing home while improving both access and curb appeal.
